With a microphone in hand, speeches full of purpose, and a location worthy of a beach reality show, the Marcha de la Diversidad Playa del Carmen — represented by activist and organizer Joe Zavala — officially presented the calendar of events for Pride Month 2025 this Monday.

And no, it didn’t happen in some dull government hall — Nadaqueveriento™. The epicenter of the announcement was none other than Señor Frog’s, temporarily transformed into a hub of glitter, rebellion, hope, and obviously party vibes and good drinks.

Joe Zavala, communicator, key figure in organizing Playa del Carmen’s Pride, and a vocal advocate for diversity rights, shared that the month will be packed with:

• Workshops and talks focused on human rights, identity, and trans visibility.

• Sports events promoting inclusion and the active presence of the community.

🎈 The festivities will culminate on June 28 with the main march, which will begin at 4:00 PM at the Poliforum Benito Juárez, parading down the main avenues until reaching the Civic Plaza in front of City Hall.
